Scott Issen is the Managing Director at the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center (CEC).

In this role, Scott launched and manages the Future Founders youth entrepreneurship program to promote entrepreneurship among underserved high school students in Chicago. The program was recognized by Mayor Richard M. Daley, the Chicago City Council, the CEO of Chicago Public Schools and various media outlets. Since 2005, 700 students have benefited from 6,500 hours of mentoring from the program's volunteer entrepreneurs.

Scott also oversees the CEC's finances, marketing and operations. This involves the creation of the organization's marketing collateral and videos. He was also instrumental in the development of the Momentum Awards Dinner and actively fundraises for the organization.

Previously, Scott served as a CEC business advisor and counseled entrepreneurs on debt financing, market and channel analysis, lead generation strategies and corporate positioning and messaging. He served on numerous strategic advisory boards for entrepreneurs and was recognized in 2006, 2007 and 2008 for outstanding support on three advisory panels.

Prior to the CEC, Scott managed small business programming for the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce and staffed the Technology Growth Committee. He also held various positions at ABN AMRO and LaSalle Banks (now Bank of America).

Scott is a Chicago Co-Chair of the Washington University Alumni and Parent Admission Program and a director for the Smart Bet Charity. Previously he was involved in the City Treasurer's Small Business Expo Planning Committee, Chicago's Electronic Crimes Task Force (an initiative of the U.S. Secret Service) and Working in the Schools.

Scott graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and majors in marketing and finance.
