Sponsors make invaluable contributions far beyond financial support: They sit on our board of directors, provide guidance and help make connections for our clients. In short, they help the CEC provide extra value that allows entrepreneurs to better empower themselves.
Our primary government sponsor, the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity (DCEO), supports us through the Opportunity Returns program. We receive additional government support from the City of Chicago's Department of Planning and Development.
